Karin and Ken Kraft live in Portland, Maine. They are avid glass and basket artists, and Ken also is a printmaker. Their glass creations explore the use of color with dichroic and irridescent glass and are designed to 'brighten' all of our lives. Their baskets are whimsical with intricate designs that use reed and/or southern pine needles and dried gourds, and are often embellished with their glass creations. Ken uses a multitude of monotype processes for his printmaking. His prints usually explore the use of color to engage the viewer. His photolithography prints combines everyday photos with abstract color prints to create one of a kind and engaging images.
